LUKE AIR FORCE BASE (Arizona) - Singapore's air and ground troops played out one of their biggest and most complex unilateral war games in the United States on Saturday.
The place where the action took place, in the 1.6 million ha of rugged scrublands of the Barry M. Goldwater training area in Arizona, is 19 times the size of Singapore.
Codenamed Forging Sabre, the exercise involved more than 450 airmen and soldiers, including commando ground surveillance troops.
Making a debut in the proceedings will be the lethal Laser Joint Direct Attack Munitions or Laser Jdams.
