Pictures: Sale of Apple's iPhone 4S draws long queues
Being first in line is something Nanyang Polytechnic student Melva Yip could get used to.
Last year, the 21-year-old started queueing at 6.30am for the iPhone 4.
On Thursday, for the release of the latest iPhone model, he was again at the front of the queue, although this time he had some help.
'My friend stood in for me at 8.30am, and I joined the line only at about 5pm as I had classes,' he said.
