TEHRAN - AN IRANIAN judiciary official denied that the American journalist jailed in Iran for allegedly spying for the US is on a hunger strike and said Tuesday that she is in 'good condition.'

 
Cocaine kingpin gets 30 years

MIAMI - A COLOMBIAN who admitted running finances for the a cocaine cartel has been sentenced to 30 years in US prison.

A Miami federal judge imposed the sentence Tuesday on 39-year-old Eugenio Montoya Sanchez.

Joint body to fight terrorism

MADRID - FRANCE and Spain are to set up a joint security committee to fight terrorism and drug trafficking, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said in an address to the Spanish parliament on Tuesday.
