ROME - NEWS reports say Italian police have arrested a man and his son for allegedly sexually abusing their respective daughters over three decades on the outskirts of Turin.

Italy's Rai state TV and private broadcaster Sky say the 63-year-old man is accused of abusing his daughter for 25 years, starting when she was nine.

 
Obama critics unveil own budget

WASHINGTON - US PRESIDENT Barack Obama's Republican critics, tired of being labeled 'the party of 'no',' said on Thursday they could do a better job of spurring growth while keeping ballooning deficits in check.

Spurred by sharp criticisms from Mr Obama, top Republicans in the House of Representatives brandished a glossy 18-page budget 'Road to Recovery' plan and promised to flesh out its very spare details next Wednesday.

3 men arrested over pedophilia

HELSINKI - FINNISH police say they have arrested three men suspected of involvement in what they called Finland's largest pedophilia case.

Detective Superintendent Kari Tolvanen says there were at least 66 victims since 2006 and most of the cases involved the Internet.

Teens sue over 'mobile porn'

WASHINGTON - THREE teenage girls are suing a Pennsylvania prosecutor who accused them of peddling 'child pornography,' after semi-nude pictures of them were sent by mobile phones to friends.

The complaint is the latest legal wrangle over 'sexting' - the apparently popular practice of sending nude or semi-nude photos to friends by mobile phone.
