ATLANTA - FACING a continuing revenue slump amid the worsening global economic downturn, Delta Air Lines Inc, the world's biggest airline operator, said on Tuesday it will cut international capacity by an additional 10 per cent starting in September, a move that will likely mean more job reductions.

Police nab 'spray on' cocaine

BARCELONA - SPANISH police have arrested an Ecuadorian woman who tried to smuggle into Barcelona liquid cocaine hidden in spray cans of products to starch clothes or clean glass.

The 35-year-old was carrying more than 1.5kg of the drug hidden in false bottoms in three spay cans found in the baggage she checked in on her flight from Guayaquil, Ecuador's largest city, police said in a statement on Tuesday.

Russia, Hungary eye gas deals

MOSCOW - THE prime ministers of Hungary and Russia on Tuesday discussed new ways to pump Russian gas to Central Europe following the winter gas crisis with Ukraine that cut off supplies of Russian gas.
