WASHINGTON - A SPACE probe that scientists hope will provide new information about the moon ahead of future manned US moon missions entered lunar orbit on Tuesday, four and a half days after it was launched aboard a rocket, Nasa said.

 
Dreamliner test delayed
CHICAGO - Boeing on Tuesday postponed the first test flight of its 787 Dreamliner for a fifth time, citing a structural problem that marked the latest blow to the credibility of the No 2 planemaker and sent its shares tumbling 9 per cent.

Boeing gave no new date for the flight or the first delivery, which also would be rescheduled. The revolutionary carbon-composite aircraft, already two years behind its original schedule, was to fly in the second quarter of 2009.

MySpace to cut 300 more jobs

WASHINGTON - SOCIAL network giant MySpace, which has been facing stiff competition from rival Facebook, announced a second wave of deep job cuts on Tuesday.

Pupils' web rankings win

KARLSRUHE (Germany) - A GERMAN teacher who had sued to shut down a website where pupils rank their instructors according to competence and 'coolness' lost her battle in court Tuesday.

The Federal Supreme Court, Germany's top civil tribunal, rejected the woman's claim that her privacy rights were violated by the site, spickmich.de, (loosely translated meaning checkmeout.de) where she received a mediocre rating from students.
