Humpback whale in NY

NEW YORK - A WHALE believed to be a humpback entered New York harbour Thursday, swimming slowly along the southeastern shore of the city, the US Coast Guard said.

The whale, measuring a relatively small 20-22 feet (6-6.7 metres), was spotted near the Verrazano Bridge, which links Brooklyn and Staten Island.
