BAIKONUR (Kazakhstan) - THE FIRST time US billionaire Charles Simonyi peered out from the international space station he was awe-struck. He's vowing to be a little more productive on his second time trip.

The Hungarian-born software designer joined US flight engineer Michael Barratt and Russian commander Gennady Padalka for last-minute preparations on Wednesday as the three counted down the hours to blast off from Russia's Baikonur cosmodrome.

Police raid Wikileaks owner

DRESDEN (Germany) - OWNER of the German domain name for the whistle-blowing website Wikileaks, has had homes raided in Dresden and Jena by police said reports on Wednesday.

Wikileaks, which offers an anonymous service, has previously published alleged web censorship lists from Thailand, Denmark, and Australia.

Mango: The weight-loss fruit

YAOUNDE (Cameroon) - THE LATEST super-food to join the 'weight loss wonders' line-up comes in the form of West African fruit irvingia gabonensis, commonly known as the African mango, said a report on Wednesday.

Research published in Lipids in Health and Disease and conducted at Cameroon's University of Yaounde, reports a test group of 102 overweight adults was given extracts of the fruit or a placebo two times a day over a 10-week period.
