WASHINGTON - THE space shuttle Discovery's mission to the International Space Station (ISS) has been again delayed until no sooner than February 22 for testing of three flow control valves, Nasa said on Saturday.

The launch had originally been scheduled for blastoff from Cape Canaveral, Florida on Feb 12 and was earlier pushed to Feb 19.

Shuttle launch delayed again

WASHINGTON - NASA has delayed the next space shuttle launch again.

Now the space shuttle Discovery won't lift off before Feb 22.

Cloning expert dies

HARTFORD (Connecticut) - XIANGZHONG 'Jerry' Yang, a Chinese-born stem cell scientist who successfully cloned the first farm animal in the United States, has died after a long battle with cancer. He was 49.

Dr Yang, director of the Centre for Regenerative Biology at the University of Connecticut, died Thursday at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, school spokesman David Bauman said on Friday.
