MILAN - FERRARI president Luca di Montezemolo smashed a television set after seeing McLaren's Lewis Hamilton snatch the Formula One world title from Felipe Massa in last weekend's season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix.

'I broke the television, I must tell the truth,' Montezemolo told a news conference at a Ferrari event in Mugello on Sunday.

 
Shin wins Mizuno Classic

SHIMA (Japan) - WOMEN'S British Open champion Shin Ji yai of South Korea shot a 5-under 67 on Sunday to win the LPGA's Mizuno Open by six strokes.

Shin, who started the final round with a two-stroke lead, carded four birdies and an eagle against a lone bogey at the Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club course to finish with a total of at 15-under 201.

Golf: Shocked Kim disqualified

SHANGHAI - AMERICAN sensation Anthony Kim's debut as a European Tour member ended in shock and disappointment on Sunday after he was disqualified from the HSBC Champions tournament here for using a damaged club.

The world number eight said he was surprised when informed of the rule that led to his eviction, after he called over a referee to explain that he had damaged his driver and to seek guidance.
