JAKARTA- A STRONG 6.1-magnitude earthquake shook Indonesia's Sumatran province of Bengkulu on Wednesday, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said.
The quake hit at 13.29 pm (2.29pm Singapore time) and was centred 227 kilometres southwest of Bintuhan in Sumatra island, at a depth of 30 km under the sea.
