KAJANG: New Era College chairman Dr Yap Sin Tian was left with a bloody nose after being punched by a former student during the college's convocation ceremony on Sunday, The New Straits Times reported.

Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Sakaruddin Che Mood confirmed a report had been lodged over the incident, saying police were looking for Dr Yap's assailant, believed to be a former student.
