HOUSTON - EXXON Mobil says it expects to invest between US$25 billion (S$38.7 billion) and US$30 billion annually on capital and exploration projects over the next five years, sticking with spending levels it announced a year ago.

 
ECB reports '08 surplus

FRANKFURT - THE European Central Bank said Thursday its surplus soared to euro2.7 billion (S$5.27 billion) last year, largely as a result of shifts in currency values.
