I want children: ex-wife

LOS ANGELES - THE ex-wife of Michael Jackson said in an interview on Thursday she plans to fight for custody of the two children she had with the tragic pop icon.

'I want my children,' Debbie Rowe said in a 90-minute interview with NBC television's local network in Los Angeles.

Funeral takes shape

LOS ANGELES - FUNERAL plans for Michael Jackson were slowly taking shape on Thursday one week after the pop icon's death as federal drug investigators joined the probe into the superstar's sudden demise.

After several days of swirling speculation over the likely final resting place for the King of Pop, reports citing unidentifed sources said a memorial service for Jackson would be held on Tuesday at Los Angeles's Staples Center.
