LOS ANGELES - A SPOKEPERSON for Patrick Swayze on Tuesday condemned 'reckless' reports that the cancer-stricken star had died, saying the actor was alive and well and responding to treatment.

The Internet was abuzz with rumors earlier on Tuesday that 'Dirty Dancing' and 'Ghost Star' Swayze - who has been fighting a brave battle against pancreatic cancer since being diagnosed last year - had passed away.

 
Spielberg to make MLK movie

ATLANTA - DREAMWORKS Studios plans to tell the Rev Martin Luther King Jr's story on the big screen in a film to be co-produced by Steven Spielberg, the studio announced on Tuesday.

DreamWorks said it has acquired the civil rights leader's life from The King Estate.

Jolie at child soldiers trial

THE HAGUE - MOVIE star and activist Angelina Jolie has attended the International Criminal Court trial of a Congolese warlord charged with using child soldiers.

Jolie said in a statement released by the court on Tuesday the case against Thomas Lubanga is a 'landmark trial for children' and paid tribute to the former child soldiers who travel to the court's seat in The Hague to testify.
