CAMDEN (New Jersey) - THERE'S no disputing that Donald Trump is a wealthy man. But just how wealthy is the issue at the heart of a lawsuit.

Mr Trump is suing an author for claiming in a 2006 book that the real estate mogul's net worth was between US$150 million (S$225 million) and $250 million.

 
Ferell, Pearl Jam set for O'Brien

LOS ANGELES - WILL Ferrell and Pearl Jam will be part of Conan O'Brien's first 'Tonight Show.'

Ferrell joined O'Brien in February for his final 'Late Night' show in New York.

Scrooge comes to Cannes

CANNES - SCROOGE came to Cannes in a horse-drawn carriage on Monday to promote Disney's 3D holiday special 'A Christmas Carol' starring Jim Carrey and a host of other Hollywood A-listers.

Carrey plays the eponymous Ebenezer Scrooge as well as various other ghoulish characters in the movie set for worldwide release ahead of the Christmas festivities.

Woody Allen wins US$5m suit

NEW YORK - WOODY Allen said on Monday he had agreed to a US$5 million (S$7.5 million) settlement with American Apparel just minutes ahead of a potentially embarrassing trial against the clothing company.

The US director-actor had sued the company, known for its racy advertising campaigns, for allegedly using without permission an image from his movie 'Anne Hall' in which he appeared as a Hasidic Jew.
