NEW YORK - MARY-KATE Olsen is taking her duties as a juror at the Tribeca Film Festival as seriously as an A-student getting ready for the first day of school.

'I wish there was a class. It is a huge honor to be a part of it and I was asked to be a part of it,' said the notoriously media-shy actress as she spoke of her juror duties at Chanel's annual dinner for the film festival.

9 charged over suicide

SEOUL - SOUTH Korean police said on Friday they would charge nine people in the case of a TV actress who committed suicide after suggesting she had been forced to provide sexual favours to advance her career.

Police said the nine, who were not detained, would face various charges such as coercion, physical assault or defamation.

Miss Universe supports rival

SYDNEY - THE SHOCKINGLY thin entrant in Australia's Miss Universe competition was being publicly supported by the winner, said reports on Friday.

Miss Universe Australia, Rachael Finch, said that her rival Stephanie Naumoska was just 'naturally thin'.
