NEW YORK - THE man charged with stalking television host Tyra Banks went on trial on Friday, with prosecutors saying he terrified the former supermodel by sending her packages and threatening her assistant.

Brady Green, 39, was arrested last March after he appeared twice at the Manhattan studio where 'The Tyra Banks Show,' a popular daytime talk show, is filmed.

 
Hollywood reaches labour deal

LOS ANGELES - HOLLYWOOD producers and the entertainment industry's biggest actors union have reached a tentative deal in their nine-month contract dispute, a joint statement said on Friday.

The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and Screen Actors Guild (Sag) did not disclose terms of the agreement, which was to be presented to the Sag's board of directors for approval on Sunday.

Hitler paintings to be sold

BERLIN - A PAIR of watercolor paintings depicting farm scenes and signed 'Adolf Hitler' are up for auction in the German city of Nuremberg this month.

The Weidler Auction House said on Friday that paintings titled 'Farmstead' and 'Farm Buildings on the River' and listed in its online catalog are attributed to the Nazi dictator.
