PARIS - ANOTHER fashion designer's personal art collection goes up for sale in Paris this year - more than 1,000 items owned by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, known the world over simply as 'Kenzo'.
Announcing the June auction on Tuesday, Kenzo said he was sad to sell off a collection amassed over two decades, but had no choice as he was moving from a spacious home for a flat with a view that was 80 per cent smaller.
Glen Goei directs an all-male ensemble in bespoke suits, revealing new insights about the comedy about courtship, confused identities and the foibles of high society. Stars Ivan Heng as Lady Bracknell with Hossan Leong, Chua Enlai, Brendon Fernandez and Gavin Yap. Live music by T'ang Quartet.
LOS ANGELES - A PROSECUTOR told a jury that Phil Spector's history of violence against women was like a game of Russian roulette that ended with the shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson at his hilltop mansion said reports on Tuesday.
Deputy District Attorney Truc Do urged jurors Monday in the music producer's retrial to find Spector guilty of second-degree murder, not the lesser possibility of involuntary manslaughter. His first jury deadlocked 10-2 for conviction.
