HONG KONG - JACKIE Chan and other prominent Hong Kong filmmakers have joined a key mainland Chinese film association, a sign of the growing integration of the two movie industries.

The 54-year-old action star was voted vice chairman of the China Film Association in elections over the weekend, the group said in a statement on its official website seen on Tuesday.

Warner sued over 'Watchmen'

LOS ANGELES - STUDIO giants 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros are poised for a court-room battle next month following a dispute over the upcoming superhero blockbuster 'Watchmen', legal officials said on Monday.

Fox sued Warner Bros over its adaptation of Alan Moore's 12-part graphic novel after arguing it had copyright and distribution rights to the film, which is due to be released in March.
