MUMBAI - KYLIE Minogue, the pint-sized Australian pop princess, will be paid US$1 million (S$1.78 million) to perform on the soundtrack of an upcoming Bollywood movie, a newspaper reported Monday.

Minogue had agreed to lend her voice to the film 'Blue,' and will travel to India next month to record the song, the DNA newspaper said.

 
Placebo plays anti-slavery gig

SIEM REAP (Cambodia) - HAD there been a roof, Placebo would have raised it as they headlined the first rock concert in history at Cambodia's Angkor Wat temple.

Some 1,200 fans of all ages, mostly Cambodian, watched the London-based alternative rockers top a bill Sunday backed by musicians from Cambodia and across the world in aid of a campaign against human trafficking.

Siblings win Amazing Race

NEW YORK - IT'S been an 'Amazing Race' indeed for Nick and Starr Spangler.

The brother-and-sister team took first place and the reality show's $1 million prize in the finale aired on Sunday on CBS.

The duo charged through the last leg of the global race in Portland, Oregon. They balanced on a beam high in the air, descended a zip line from 2,000 feet (610 metres) and solved a complex puzzle.

New LA home for Grammys
