LONDON - BRITISH pop star Boy George was found guilty by a court in London on Friday of falsely imprisoning a Norwegian male escort after a nude photoshoot.

The former Culture Club frontman, 47, was accused of handcuffing 29-year-old Audun Carlsen and beating him with a metal chain when he tried to escape the musician's east London apartment following the photo session.

 
Coldplay accused of plagiarism

LOS ANGELES - ROCK guitarist Joe Satriani has sued British band Coldplay, accusing the Grammy-nominated stars of plagiarising one of his songs.

No go for Sound of Music hotel

VIENNA - THE former home of the Trapp family, made famous by the 1965 film 'The Sound of Music', will not re-open as a hotel after all following opposition from residents and politicians, the owners said.

The villa in Aigen, near Salzburg, failed to receive final approval on Wednesday from the city after neighbours complained it would bring hordes of tourists to their peaceful suburb.

Estrada on police patrols

MUNCIE - ERIK Estrada has returned to Muncie to take part in overnight police patrols in the city where he starred in the short-lived reality series Armed & Famous.

The former star of the 1970s motorcycle cop TV drama, Chips, is a reserve officer on the Muncie Police Department.
