A MARATHON for the people. That is what Senior Parliamentary Secretary (Community Development, Youth and Sports) Teo Ser Luck wants the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon to evolve into next year.

The run, which has capped its participation at 50,000 runners for logistical reasons, is now one of the biggest marathons in the world but Mr Teo hopes it can be expanded to accommodate even more runners next year.
