We want our $11k 'bonus'

A DISPUTE over an $11,000 payout has erupted between a group of cabbies and the industry's newest cab-rental company, Prime Taxis.

Fifteen cabbies claim they had been led to believe they would each get a 'bonus' of $11,000 if they stayed with the company for five years.

They have each been paying $6.03 a day, in addition to their rental, as a recurring security deposit. They claim to have realised only recently that the $11,000 was to come from the accumulation of these payments at the end of five years.
