MORE than 450 small buses are now fitted with seatbelts since the Government made it compulsory last year for such buses to install them.

The Land Transport Authority has also rolled out education materials - such as a videos produced by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) - in schools to teach children how to buckle up safely.

 
Woman fell, hit by train

AN ELDERLY woman died after she was hit by a train at the Clementi MRT station on Tuesday morning, disrupting westbound train service between Queenstown and Jurong East stations for about 50 minutes.
