Chilli powder in hand grenades

GUWAHATI (India) - INDIA'S security forces are planning to mix one of the world's hottest chilli powders in hand grenades to control riots and during insurgency operations in the remote north-east, a defence official said on Thursday.

Nissan recalls 41,000 cars

TOKYO - JAPAN'S Nissan Motor Co said on Thursday it was recalling 41,159 units of its Dualis sport utility vehicle to repair defective parts including windscreen wipers.

Indian heatwave kills 100
