TOKYO - NORTH Korea has warned it will conduct a military firing exercise off its eastern city of Wonsan, Japan's Coast Guard said on Monday, in a possible indication of a missile test.

Police suspended for cover-up

SRINAGAR - FOUR Indian police officials were suspended on Monday over their handling of a rape and murder case that has sent shockwaves through the disputed Muslim-majority Kashmir region, officials said.

The death of a 17-year-old girl and her 22-year-old sister-in-law has sparked widespread anti-India protests in the Kashmir Valley since their bodies were found in a stream on May 30.
