MUMBAI - A 10-YEAR-OLD girl on Wednesday accused a Pakistani man on trial in India over last year's Mumbai attacks of being of one of two gunmen who opened fire at the city's main railway station.

Asked whether she could see the gunman in court, Devika Rotawal pointed at Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, who did not react, the Press Trust of India news agency said.

 
Crashed military plane found

GUWAHATI - INDIAN rescuers on Wednesday found the wreckage of a military transport plane which crashed overnight near the disputed border with China, killing all 13 on board, officials said.

Air force officials said the wreckage of the Russian-built Antanov-12 was scattered across a hill in the northeastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Indian colleges ban jeans

LUCKNOW (India) - COLLEGES in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh said on Wednesday that female students would be banned from wearing jeans and other Western clothes to halt sexual harassment by male classmates.

Thousands protest govt

The suicide of the liberal leader, who held office from 2003 to 2008, sparked a mass outpouring of grief and fuelled a political row between liberals and conservatives.

Police said the rally at a plaza in central Seoul drew about 12,000 people.
