LAHORE (Pakistan) - A PAKISTANI court remanded former test cricketer Ijaz Ahmed in custody on Friday for issuing forged checks worth more than $130,000, his lawyer said.

Kashid Javed said Ahmed would be held in custody for 14 days, but that he was hoping his client would be released on bail.
