MIAMI - YEAR-round sunshine, sculpted bodies in skimpy swimsuits and sandy beaches for people-watching are some of the reasons why Miami has been picked the 'sexiest city' in the United States.

The poll run by the travel website TripAdvisor consulted some 3,400 US holidaymakers to rank American cities.

New York was voted their favourite city, Honolulu in Hawaii was the most romantic, and Cleveland, Ohio was dubbed the most boring. -- AFP
