Risk of import into Singapore elevated. Isolated imported cases may occur but there is no sustained transmission.

SUSPECTED AND CONFIRMED CASES

Deaths: Global total of 117  

Confirmed cases: WHO says 46 countries have reported nearly 20,000 cases, mostly in the US and Mexico.

KEY DEVELOPMENTS

16 new cases were reported in Singapore on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 142.

Chile reported its 5th flu death, an 18-year-old man.

New Zealand confirmed 258 cases, with 213 of those have been recorded in the past seven days.
