Hostage taking in Russia

MOSCOW - A MAN armed with a firearm and grenades took five people hostage in a bank in the Siberian region of Kemerovo, the regional administration said on Friday, quoted by RIA-Novosti.

'Our preliminary information is that five bank employees are inside the seized building - three men and two women,' a spokesman for the administration told the agency. -- AFP
