4 supermarkets set ablaze
SODERTALJE (Sweden) - POLICE say arsonists have set four supermarkets on fire in a town south of Stockholm in what may be an anti-American attack.

Police spokesman Kia Samrell says police have no suspect in the fires in Sodertalje but are investigating whether an anti-American group was responsible.

Ms Samrell says two of the stores have been destroyed. The third is seriously ruined but the fourth wasn't damaged. No one was injured in the attacks, which took place early on Thursday.

The fires were in two different Willys stores, one Ica store and one Tempo store. The supermarkets are Swedish but sell American goods.

The group 'Global Intifada' has previously claimed responsibility for smaller fires at two other stores in Sodertalje and has urged people to set fire to stores selling American goods. -- AP
