PARIS - A MOLOTOV cocktail was thrown at a synagogue in a Paris suburb on Sunday, causing the facade of an adjoining Jewish restaurant to briefly catch fire, an anti-Semitism monitoring group said.
'The Molotov cocktail did not cause any damage to the synagogue, but the window of the adjoining restaurant was broken and a wall blackened' by flames, said the non-governmental National Bureau for Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism.
A witness of the attack on the synagogue in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis said three people fled the scene, the group added.
French Interior Minister Michele Alliot-Marie said in statement that all efforts would be taken 'to find the perpetrators of the attack and have them answer before justice for this intolerable act.' -- AFP
