WASHINGTON - FIRST lady Laura Bush has sealed a deal to publish her memoir.
The publishing house Scribner said in a statement on Monday that the book will provide an intimate account of the first lady's eight years in the White House, and will reveal her recollections of personal and historical moments.
The memoir is expected to be published in 2010. A White House statement on the book did not disclose how much Mrs Bush is being paid for the effort.
Mrs Bush was represented by Washington attorney Robert Barnett, whose many clients include former President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and Senator Edward Kennedy. -- AP
