WASHINGTON - MICHELLE Obama and her two daughters have arrived in Washington ahead of her husband, President-elect Barack Obama.
The Obama women arrived at their temporary home at the Hay-Adams Hotel on Saturday evening. They are expected to be joined Sunday by Mr Barack Obama, who remained in Chicago to wrap things up at his home and transition office.
The Obamas moved early so their daughters could start school on time. The Obamas' daughters, 7-year-old Sasha and 10-year-old Malia, start classes on Monday at the private Sidwell Friends School. -- AP
