MEXICO CITY - MEXICO'S transporation minister says Interior Secretary Juan Camilo Mourino was aboard a small plane with eight people aboard that crashed in the capital.
Mr Luis Tellez says the plane was en route from the San Luis Potosi when it crashed on Tuesday in a wealthy Mexico City neighbourhood. He said he had no knowledge of survivors. Four bodies have been recovered.
Mr Telez said it appeared to be an accident.
Mexico City Mayor Marcelo Ebrard earlier said at three people were dead after the plane went down in a street full of parked cars in a wealthy neighbourhood.
Mr Ebrard said that at least 40 people were injured and 30 cars destroyed. -- AP
