TOKYO - A small business jet crash-landed in a busy traffic intersection in western Japan on Tuesday, but no one was seriously injured, an official said.

A blue-and-white Cessna plane crashed into the street in Yao city in Osaka prefecture, smashing its propeller and wings, television footage showed.

'The plane made a crash-landing into the traffic intersection but we have no reports of injuries. But apparently fuel is leaking from the plane,' local fire department official Katsumi Taguchi told AFP.

The two male crew members pulled themselves out of the plane and were not in critical condition, he said. No bystanders were reported injured. -- AFP.
