HONG KONG - SINOTRANS Shipping said late on Wednesday its vessel Great Creation had been released and set sail again for international waters after being hijacked near the Gulf of Aden in September.
The Hong Kong-listed shipping group said the incident had been resolved and the crew on board was in good condition.
Great Creation, with a deadweight of 27,383 tonnes, carried 25,920 tonnes of fertilisers when it was attacked, and had 25 people on board, including one Hong Kong resident, one Sri Lankan and 23 Chinese nationals.
