Dinosaur prints found in NZ

NELSON (New Zealand) - SCIENTISTS have discovered the first evidence that dinosaurs roamed the South Island of New Zealand with 70-million-year-old footprints found in six locations. They are the first dinosaur footprints found in the country although bones, mostly vertebrae, have been discovered in two North Island locations.

The footprints were found by scientist Greg Browne in the remote Whanganui Inlet in the north-west of Nelson at the top of the South Island. They are spread over 10km and in one area there are up to 20 footprints, Dr Browne said.

Microsoft websites top spots

SAN FRANCISCO - INDUSTRY tracker comScore on Friday released a study showing that Internet users in September spent more time at Microsoft websites that at any other online properties.

A record high population of 1.2 billion Internet users ages 15 or older spent a total of nearly 27 billion hours online in September, according to the study.

Censorship open to challenge

GENEVA - CENSORSHIP of the Internet is open to challenge at the World Trade Organization as it can restrict trade in services delivered online, a forthcoming study says.

A censorship case at the WTO could raise sovereignty issues, given the clear right of member states to restrict trade on moral grounds - for example, by blocking access to child pornography websites.
