LONDON - A LONDON coroner says the son of world auto racing boss Max Mosley died from drug abuse last month.

Alexander Mosley was found dead at his luxury apartment. The 39-year-old's body was found slumped over his desk by a cleaner.

Westminster Coroner's Court heard on Wednesday that he was surrounded by drug paraphernalia and that his urine tested positive for cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy, and heroin or morphine.

His father has been the president of the FIA, the international automobile federation which governs Formula One racing, since 1993.
