ROME - DAVID Trezeguet and Juventus appear to have put aside their differences - at least until the end of the season - and the striker could appear in a key match at AS Roma on Saturday.

Last week, coach Claudio Ranieri labeled Trezeguet a 'spoiled child' for complaining to the press over his substitution against Chelsea in the Champions League. The French forward scored two goals in training on Wednesday and met with club management.

'The case is resolved,' Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli said. 'We've got to take advantage of every chance we have, so I hope Trezeguet trains well and plays when Ranieri chooses.

We've got to focus on winning and that's all.'

With 10 rounds remaining, Juventus trails Serie A leader Inter Milan by seven points. Cobolli Gigli called the Roma match 'extremely important.'

'Either we win the next 10 games and (Inter) loses, or there won't be much to do,' he said.

Ranieri could be tempted to leave Trezeguet on the bench and keep intact the three-pronged attack that worked well in a 4-1 win over Bologna last week - Sebastian Giovinco, Vincenzo Iaquinta and captain Alessandro Del Piero.

Amauri, Mauro Camoranesi, Mohamed Sissoko and Cristiano Zanetti are all out injured for Juve, while defender Giorgio Chiellini has returned after surgery to repair his broken nose.

Roma is tied with Fiorentina for fifth place, two points behind Genoa in the race for the final Champions League spot. -- AP
