KUALA LUMPUR - AMERICAN Anthony Kang won the US$2 million (S$3 million) Malaysian Open on Sunday by a single stroke after sinking a birdie on the final hole.
Kang shot a final round five-under-par 67 for a total of 17-under to record his first title on the European tour and his first victory in any event since 2001.
Talented Thai Prayad Marksaeng, India's Jyoti Randhawa and English pair David Horsey and Miles Tunnicliff were tied for the second place in the event co-sanctioned by the European and Asian tours. -- REUTERS
