ROME - AS ROMA captain Francesco Totti is expected to be out for up to two months because of a leg injury.
The 32-year-old playmaker left the pitch in the 31st minute of the Serie A match at Catania on Sunday with a right thigh problem.
Totti underwent further checks that showed a muscular strain on Tuesday, the ANSA news agency said.
He is likely to miss between seven and nine Serie A games and the Feb. 24 first leg of the Champions League match against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
Roma officials couldn't be reached to confirm the prognosis. -- AP
