NATIONAL keglers Remy Ong and Shaun Ng won the men's doubles gold at the IV Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championships in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Tuesday.
The duo finished with a combined six-game total of 2,730 pinfalls - 52 more than closest rivlas Paul Moor and Darren Cundy of England.
Malaysia's Syafiq Ridhwan and Nur Aiman were third on 2,635 pinfalls.
The gold was Singapore's third medal at the championships, which features 16 countries including strong bowling nations such as Australia, England and Malaysia.
The Republic had earlier secured two silvers in the women's singles and doubles events.
