NATIONAL football coach Raddy Avramovic will take the opportunity to try out several partnerships on Wednesday, when Singapore take on Vietnam in a friendly at the Jurong East Stadium.
Indra Sahdan and Noh Alam Shah will start upfront for the first time in a year, while Qiu Li and Mustafic Fahrudin will occupy the middle of the park in a diamond formation that Avramovic is trying out for the first time.
The game is one of two friendlies before the Lions begin their defence of the Asean Football Federation Championship, which has been renamed the Suzuki Cup.
Singapore next play Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, before heading to Jakarta for their AFF opener against Cambodia on Dec 5.
