SAO PAULO - OUTGOING drivers world champion Kimi Raikkonen of Finland said after qualifying third for Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix that he believed Ferrari had the pace to win the race.
He said: 'I am in a good starting position, but actually I prefer third to second, it's a good place to be. I am just hoping we get a good start like we did last year. That would be perfect for the team and that is what we are aiming for - but after that it is not up to us anymore. We can just finish and then see what happens. Our only chance is to finish first and second and then to hope for a bit of luck on our side. It is not up to us anymore then. I think we have a good car.'
'I am confident we are strong for the race. It wasn't perfect in qualifying and it is going to be hard for the tyres. We should be in a strong position.' -- AFP
