A BURGLAR broke into a flat and took away a laptop and a mobile phone while its occupants were sleeping on Friday night.
The 44-year old victim told the police that the burglar broke into the apartment at Block 107 Towner Road through a living room window after he locked the doors and went to bed at around 10pm.
He discovered on Saturday morning that his laptop worth $1,000 and his wife's mobile phone worth $250 were missing from a table in the living room.
The living room window and grills had been forced open.
In another break-in, a 39-year-old female motorist was robbed of a laptop on Monday after her car was broken into.
She had parked her car in the open-air carpark at Block 51 Old Airport Road at around 3.40pm. She returned an hour later to find her rear-window smashed and a laptop worth around $1,800 missing.
