FINANCE Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam is in London for the G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors meeting on Friday and Saturday.
Singapore was invited to participate in its role as the 2009 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) chair.
The G-20 ministers will take the opportunity to review the progress of commitments made at the previous G-20 Summits in Washington and London, and recommend further actions required to build a sustainable recovery and future sources of growth.
Mr Tharman is accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
