CLANG Invasion is an animated comedy series about a group of robot aliens who crash-land in the backyard of the house of a pair of twins. When the worlds of the aliens and people collide, hilarious situations arise.
Local animation house Scrawl Studios received US$185,000 (S$270,000) for every 30 minutes of footage, from the Media Development Authority (MDA), to help it make the animated television series.
The series, comprising 52 11-minute episodes, was co-produced with Canadian television broadcaster, YTV. Airing of the programme in Canada will begin in the next few months.
